Strategic partnerships formulated for the betterment of the next generation
Since 2013 I’ve been delivering mentorship & leadership training as well as mental empowerment and financial education presentations to schools and community organizations across South Florida, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, and multiple other states with a focus on lower-income communities.
I've learned in my work and research that much of the financial education delivered in school settings and community organizations is either inadequate in relation to the advancements in today's society or lacking in cultural competence as to how home-life trauma impacts a student's community members’ ability to understand and conceptualize traditional financial education. With a doctoral-level background in social work, while also building numerous companies including investment and capital groups, I dedicate my time to educating youth and young adults on all things income, saving, investing, budgeting, credit, life insurance, and more while incorporating some fun and relatability.
I love to collaborate with FDIC-insured institutions to fulfill Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) requirements for the betterment of the students and young adults in the communities that you serve.
