Going Through a Tough Time Financially?
I've seen so much stress, struggle, and pain around me over the recent months. I have a few things to say in that regard.
You subconsciously maintain a sense of stagnation when you have a crutch(s) in your life. That crutch is usually someone who comes in to catch you before you hit rock bottom. When you have those people who come through too often and cushion our fall, it's easier to keep doing the same thing. That's why it's said that people don't make a change until they hit rock bottom. Most people don't make the necessary moves until their back is against the wall and there is no other choice.
What you need to do is be more proactive...uncomfortably proactive. Sometimes you've got to get to the point where you feel straight bummy for accepting the position that you accept, but understand that it's only temporary if you take care of business. You have to accept roles and opportunities that you feel are beneath you until you have your footing. You MUST connect with individuals who are further ahead than you are. You have to be transparent with them as to what your situation is, then go stupid hard taking advantage of opportunities that they place before you.
A message on bouncing back from rock bottom:
